1. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website, completing a booking, or making any payment for a service with SVED Consulting (SVED), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms exist to ensure clarity, trust, and mutual accountability for all parties.
2. Services and Pricing
Scope of Service: SVED provides personal styling, wardrobe consulting, and coaching services. This includes Wardrobe Edits, Personal Shopping, Style Consultations, and Multi-Session Packages.
Professional Standards: Services are provided by Anna Svedberg, a certified personal stylist and certificed transformation coach with NLP coaching qualifications. My approach, the SVED method, applies behavioural science, slow fashion, sustainability, and fashion psychology to align your identity with your wardrobe.
Pricing: Current services and pricing are detailed on the Appointments page. All prices are in AUD, and GST is not charged.
3. Booking, Payment, and Digital Tools
Secure Booking & Payment
Booking Platform: All services are scheduled through Acuity Scheduling.
Payment Processing: Secure payments are handled via Stripe, PayPal, or Google Pay.
Payment Schedule: A 50 percent deposit is required at booking, with the balance charged automatically 24 hours before your session.
Booking, Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
The following section ensures fairness for both parties and protects SVED's ability to rebook time slots.
Rescheduling
4.1 Rescheduling Limits
Clients may reschedule once at no charge.
A second reschedule incurs a $150 administrative fee.
A third reschedule is treated as a cancellation and the full session fee is forfeited.
These limits apply to all in-person and virtual sessions, package sessions, gift certificates, and credit notes.
4.2 Rescheduling Requests
Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice, subject to SVED's availability.
All reschedules count towards the limits outlined in clause 4.1.
4.3 Rescheduling Within 48 Hours
Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the appointment may be accommodated at SVED's discretion and may incur an administrative fee of up to $150.

Cancellations
4.4 Cancellation With More Than 48 Hours Notice
If a client cancels with more than 48 hours notice, the booking deposit is forfeited.
Any additional payments made will be converted to a credit note valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Credit notes are non-refundable.
4.5 Cancellation With Less Than 48 Hours Notice
If a client cancels with less than 48 hours notice, the full session fee is forfeited and no credit note will be issued.
4.6 No-Shows and Missed Appointments
A no-show includes:
• Not attending the session
• Arriving more than 20 minutes late without prior contact
• Not being contactable at the scheduled start time
• Failing to provide access for an in-home session
The full session fee will be charged and no credit note will be issued.
For package bookings, the missed session will be deducted from the package.
Refunds
4.7 Refunds
Booking deposits are non-refundable.
Refunds are not available once a session has commenced or once any personalised service materials, pre-work, research, shopping preparation, reports, guides, mood boards, styling recommendations, or other work has been prepared or provided.
Package payments are non-refundable once the first package session has commenced.
4.8 Cancellation by SVED
SVED reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a session due to illness, safety concerns, emergencies, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Where possible, an alternative appointment time will be offered.
If SVED is unable to provide the booked service within a reasonable timeframe, any fees paid for the affected session will be refunded.
Professional Styling & Coaching Tools
Virtual Wardrobes (Hue & Stripe): I use Hue & Stripe as a secure hub to host your digital lookbooks, catalog your wardrobe, and manage personalized shopping recommendations.
Style Guides (Canva): Custom style guides and visual mood boards are created in Canva to help align your personal identity with your wardrobe.
Collaborative Systems (Google Workspace): We use Google Workspace for secure communication and to manage your daily style feedback loops.
Travel and Logistics (Melbourne Services)
Base Location: Travel is calculated from my base in Northcote, VIC 3070.
Included Travel: Your session includes up to 1 hour (60 minutes) of travel time each way at no extra cost.
Travel Rates: Additional travel beyond 60 minutes is charged at $25 per 15-minute increment.
5. Health and Safety
Scope of Service: SVED is a styling and coaching service, not a mental health service. While the approach is trauma-informed, clients should seek professional health support where required.
Illness: Clients must not attend an in-person session if unwell or contagious. Please reschedule as soon as possible.
Minors: Clients under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the in-person session.
6. Client Responsibilities
Punctuality and Information: Clients must arrive on time for all sessions and provide accurate background information relevant to the service.
Home Environment (In-Person): For in-person sessions, clients must ensure the home environment is safe and accessible for the stylist.
Late Arrival: If you are late, the session will still conclude at the original scheduled end time, and the session may be shortened accordingly.
Termination of Session: SVED reserves the right to immediately refuse or end a session due to inappropriate behaviour, the presence of an unsafe or unsuitable environment, individual, or any material breach of these terms. If a session is ended due to a client’s breach, the client will be charged the full session fee.
7. Styling Outcomes and Liability
Australian Consumer Law (ACL): This clause does not limit your rights under the non-excludable guarantees of the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Specifically, SVED guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill, and will be fit for the particular purpose requested by the client.
Subjectivity: Styling, wardrobe outcomes, and personal transformation are inherently subjective.
Client Decisions: Clients are solely responsible for all decisions and purchases made during or after a session.
Risk: Clients remain responsible for the safety and care of their garments, accessories, and the home environment during the session.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by the ACL, SVED is not liable for dissatisfaction, subjective wardrobe choices, or incidental damage to garments, furnishings, or personal belongings during the provision of the service.
8. Gift Cards, Credit Notes and Discount Codes
Redemption: Gift Cards, Credit Notes and Discount Codes must be applied at the time of booking.
Non-Redeemable: Gifts cards, discount codes and credit notes are not redeemable for cash and cannot be applied retroactively to a completed or existing booking.
Withdrawal of Offers: SVED reserves the right to change or withdraw any offer or discount code at any time.
Credit notes may be issued in accordance with the Section 4 Cancellation, Refund and Rescheduling Policy

9. Photos and Consent
Purpose: SVED takes photos during client sessions expressly for use for styling, coaching or documentation of the session. These are not taken to be shared outside the context of the relationship between Anna and client. In simple terms - I’ll never show anyone the photos I take during our sessions and I will give you access to the photographs I take too.
Request: If photos are taken by Anna for any reason aside from the above purpose, Anna will request permission to take the photos with consent provided for clearly stipulated purposes. In simple terms, If I’m going to ask to take a photo of you that I might share with anyone aside from you, I will ask your permission prior to taking it for you to say yes or no.
Consent: Photos will only be used for marketing purposes with your explicit consent.
Withdrawal: Consent is opt-in, and you may withdraw your consent for future use at any time.
10. Intellectual Property
Ownership: All materials provided by SVED, including style guides, templates, mood boards, images, and written content, remain the intellectual property of SVED Consulting.
License to Client: These materials are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.
Prohibition: Clients may not reproduce, publish, share, sell, or distribute these materials without the express prior written permission of Anna Svedberg.
Website Content: All website content is the intellectual property of SVED or is used with permission.
11. Clothing Circulation and Unwanted Items
SVED is committed to slow fashion and ethical consumption. Clients are encouraged to sell or give their unwanted items to people or places that will value them.
Transfer of Ownership: If you opt for SVED to remove any unwanted clothing for you at the end of your session, those items immediately and permanently become the sole property of SVED Consulting.
No Compensation: No compensation, recognition, or return of items will be provided to the client for these items.
Usage: SVED may sell, swap, donate, share, store, recycle or use these items at its discretion.
Association: If any item is to be used or donated in association with your name, this will only occur after a separate, explicit discussion and a clear, written agreement with terms agreed in advance.
12. Privacy
Confidentiality: All client information and session discussions are strictly confidential.
Data Collection: Personal data (including name, contact details, preferences, booking history, and consented photos/testimonials) is collected to deliver services, maintain communication, and for internal record-keeping. I also collect anonymous website usage data through Google Analytics to help me understand how visitors interact with my site and to improve the resources I share with you.
Compliance: All personal data is handled securely and in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Disclosure: SVED does not sell or share personal data except as required by Australian law or judicial order.
Access: Clients may request access, correction, or deletion of their data by emailing anna@sved.com.au..
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising under these terms will be handled under Victorian law.
14. Updates to Terms
SVED may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to your service. The current version will always be published onsved.com.au
